Day 1SydneyWelcome to Sydney, Australia's largest city and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Your hotel room is available for immediate check-in. A pre-night is not required for early check-in. Please schedule flights to arrive by 4pm in order to attend this evening's welcome briefing.
Day 2SydneyYour morning sightseeing tour includes a visit to the city's BOTANIC GARDENS and the famous Mrs Macquarie's chair. The sandstone rock chair was carved by convicts in 1810 and is said to be where Mrs Macquarie would sit and watch the ships from Great Britain sail into the harbor. Next, visit the famous SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for an inside visit of its interior and theaters. Afterward, enjoy a welcome lunch at one of the LF Opera House's restaurants where you'll enjoy great photo opportunities and sweeping views of the harbor and Harbour Bridge. Day 5UluruFor an unforgettable experience, you may choose to rise early for an optional camel ride to watch the sunrise at Uluru. Today, enjoy a TOUR at the base of the rock, while learning of its significance to the Anangu Aboriginal people. Time to relax at your resort before the afternoon takes us to a popular lookout to enjoy views of the magnificent KATA TJUTA (the Olgas), a geological splendor of some 36 brilliant domes. Day 7CairnsThe Great Barrier Reef was described by Sir David Attenborough as 'The most magical place in the world.' Today is your chance to experience this stunning wonder and beauty for yourself. You may also wish to take an optional excursion to the Daintree Rainforest, one of the most diverse and beautiful examples of Mother Nature in the world. This is one of the best places in New Zealand to spot the elusive kiwi. Although nocturnal, they can sometimes come out to search for food during the day. Day 18Port ChalmersDunedin, known as the 'Edinburgh of the South,' was founded by Scottish settlers in 1848. Day 26Coral CoastThis morning's highlight is a half-day SIGATOKA RIVER SAFARI. Be transported into the heart and soul of Fiji, aboard a custom-built jet boat. Cruise your way up the magnificent Sigatoka River to visit an authentic Fijian village and experience a day in the life of the real 'Kaiviti' (Fijian). Flex Air allows flexibility if you want to make changes to your vacation schedule. Instant Purchase Air may offer additional airline options but has more restrictions. Guaranteed air-inclusive prices: air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation. An additional $300 per person non-refundable air deposit is required for Flex Air booked in conjunction with any land vacation (i.e. air-inclusive vacation). Air can only be booked by Globus in conjunction with a vacation package. Instant Purchase Air requires air payment in full at time of booking (i.e. air-inclusive vacation) plus non-refundable per person service fee ($30 for North/Central America, $50 for Europe/Middle East and $80 for all other destinations.
